Junior Software Developer

This course prepares individuals for a career as a junior software developer, where they will be part of a development team responsible for writing and maintaining code for computer applications. They will learn the codebase, work on bug fixes, and participate in paired programming with mid-level and senior developers. The course covers various entry-level roles in the software industry, including support and help desk, testing, user interaction design, maintenance, enhancement, development, and documentation. Students will learn to attend and contribute to development team meetings, troubleshoot, patch computer code, and collaborate with other developers to create applications. Upon completion of the course, students will have the necessary skills and knowledge to start their careers as a junior software developer.
