OT Technician

A Variety of electrical and electronic equipment are in use in modern operation theatres for monitoring anaesthesia & surgical procedures. The success of the procedures and safety of patients depend largely on the reliability, smooth and trouble free performance of these equipment and skilled anaesthesia. There is increased need for qualified and trained hands in the field. This course is aimed at satisfying this need of the state.

• Eligibility for Admissions: A pass in 10+2 or equivalent thereto, recognised by the Unive with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and a minimum of 50% marks for these subjects. 10% grace marks will be given for students with Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation/Biomedical as an additional qualification.
• Duration of Course: Two Years plus six months compulsory internship.
• Age Limit: The candidate should be between the age group of 17-25 years. Five years relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST candidate is allowable.
• Scheme of Examination: There shall be examinations at every year. A diploma will be issued by Medical Council of India
